Mizuhiki is the ancient Japanese art of tying cord made by twisting long strips of washi paper which is starched and then coloured.
The cord is used for money envelopes and as part of an engagement gift. It is also used to make a decoration for a card, gift wrapping and as an accessory.
The theme for this workshop is the 'Turtle' which is a lucky charm in Japan. Have some challenging fun and guarantee good luck for 2018.
