Koto no Wa

Koto is a traditional stringed musical instrument. The beautiful sound of the koto is familiar to everyone, however many people haven't had chances to strum their fingers across the strings yet. This workshop offers a beginner's chance to enjoy the sound, learn the basic techniques and how to read the music in a relaxed atmosphere.

Midori Furze will be presenting this workshop. Her mother is a Koto teacher in Japan and Midori learnt Koto from a young age.
