Towada and Oirase Stream

Left the ryokan early in the morning to get a good start on the walk before the crowds

Got lost 3 times finding my way to Lake Towada - road works in progress and had to do a detour. The road to the lake was not very wide and many cars stop on the side of the road to take pictures. Buses sometimes do this so can be a little tricky. The road runs right beside the stream so is very scenic.

Found a parking spot at Nenokuchi - quite lucky as the car is very narrow. I chose to walk beside the river - a lot of people were walking on the road which made driving even more difficult.

Most of my recording was video as I love to hear the sounds of the river but not eveyone wants to see so many videos of moss and waterfalls. 

It was a very happy day for me.
